Crimes - Committing Crime of Violence in Presence of Minor - Penalties

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a person from committing a crime of violence while knowingly in the presence of a minor under the age of 16 years who witnesses the crime; establishing penalties for a violation of the Act; establishing that a sentence under the Act is separate from and consecutive to a sentence for a crime based on the act establishing a violation of the Act; providing that a person who violates the Act is guilty of the abuse of a child under 18 for specified purposes; etc.
