Health Insurance - Private Review Agents - Emergency Inpatient and Residential Crisis Services Admission Determinations

Synopsis:

Requiring a private review agent, under specified circumstances, to submit information to the Maryland Insurance Commissioner regarding procedures and policies for making determinations for emergency inpatient admissions, or admissions for specified residential crisis services, for the treatment of a mental, emotional, or substance abuse disorder; requiring a private review agent, under specified circumstances, to make specified admissions determinations within 2 hours; etc.
