Synopsis:

Including in the definition of criminal justice unit in the law relating to the criminal justice information system a government unit or subunit that by law is responsible for evaluating, placing, or treating persons who are charged or convicted of committing a crime and committed by the court to the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
