Hospital Patient Safety and Awareness Act

Synopsis:

Requiring specified hospital clinical staff and trainees to wear badges containing identifying information; requiring specified information to be provided by specified hospitals to a patient before or at the time of admission; requiring specified clinical staff to contact or assist a patient in contacting the attending physician; requiring specified hospitals to establish procedures to provide a specified patient assistance system for the resolution of a patient's personal medical care concerns; etc.
