Entitled:
Consumer Protection - Merchant Contact Information for Contract Cancellation

Synopsis:

Requiring a merchant that provides consumer goods or consumer services over the Internet under a specified contract to include on a merchant's website a toll-free telephone number or an address which a consumer may use to cancel the contract; providing that a violation of the Act is an unfair or deceptive practice within the meaning of the Maryland Consumer Protection Act and is subject to specified enforcement and penalty provisions; etc.
