Entitled:
Prescription Drug Safety Act

Synopsis:

Requiring a wholesale distributor of prescription drugs to hold a license issued by the State Board of Pharmacy before the wholesale distributor engages in the wholesale distribution of prescription drugs in the State; authorizing the Board to exempt a U.S. Food and Drug Administration licensed drug manufacturer from licensing requirements; establishing pedigree requirements for the wholesale distribution of prescription drugs; requiring the Board to study electronic pedigrees and other advanced tracking technology; etc.
