Assisted Living Programs - Licensure

Synopsis:

Requiring a person to be licensed by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to conduct, operate, or maintain an assisted living program; exempting specified housing provided under a specified care program from assisted living requirements; requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to develop the application for an assisted living program license; providing that an assisted living program license is valid for 2 years; authorizing the Secretary to issue a specified probationary license; etc.
