Dentists and Dental Hygienists - General Supervision - Practice Requirements

Synopsis:

Altering the types of settings in which licensed dental hygienists may practice dental hygiene under the supervision of licensed dentists while a supervising dentist is not on the premises; repealing provisions that authorize the State Board of Dental Examiners to waive specified supervision requirements for dental hygienists to practice dental hygiene under supervision in specified facilities; altering the scope of licenses to practice dental hygiene; etc.
