State Highway Administration - Bridges - Installation of Throwable Flotation Devices

Synopsis:

Requiring the State Highway Administration to install a throwable flotation device on every bridge in the State that is part of a highway and extends over a body of water, includes a pedestrian walkway, and requires a construction permit from the United States Coast Guard; requiring the flotation device to be readily accessible by any person rendering assistance to a person in distress in the water; etc.
