Commercial Law - Consumer Protection - Vehicle Protection Products Act

Synopsis:

Providing that a vehicle protection product may not be sold or offered for sale in the State unless the seller and the warrantor of the vehicle protection product comply with the Act; requiring a warrantor of a vehicle protection product to be insured under a specified warranty reimbursement insurance policy or to maintain a specified amount of net worth or stockholders' equity; specifying the terms of a warranty reimbursement insurance policy; requiring a vehicle protection product warranty to be written in a specified manner; etc.
