Synopsis:

Requiring an electric company to remain a separate legal entity from a person that acquires or merges with the electric company or a person that owns or controls the electric company under specified circumstances; requiring an electric company and a person acquiring or merging with the electric company to maintain separate boards of directors and balance sheets under specified circumstances; returning electric generation to the status of a utility service subject to regulation by the Public Service Commission; etc.
