Sexually Violent Predators - Registration and Commitment to a State Facility

Synopsis:

Altering the definition of a sexually violent predator; eliminating specified provisions relating to sexually violent predators; creating a procedure in which a person who has been convicted of or charged with a sexually violent offense and who suffers from a specified mental abnormality or personality disorder may be placed in the custody of the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene until the person meets specified criteria; etc.
