Entitled:
Consumer Protection - Personal Information Protection Act

Synopsis:

Requiring specified businesses, when destroying a customer's records that contain personal information of the customer, to take specified steps to protect against unauthorized access to or use of the personal information under specified circumstances; requiring specified businesses that own or license personal information of an individual residing in the State to implement and maintain specified security procedures and practices under specified circumstances; etc.
