Consumer Protection - Vessel Warranty Enforcement Act

Synopsis:

Providing that it is an unfair or deceptive trade practice under the Maryland Consumer Protection Act to violate the provisions of the Vessel Warranty Enforcement Act; extending the protections of the Act to all warranties of specified new vessels; requiring a manufacturer to replace or accept the return of a vessel under specified circumstances; establishing specified affirmative defenses; requiring a consumer to notify a manufacturer under specified circumstances; etc.
