Synopsis:

Authorizing a person that is not a nonprofit organization to provide debt management services in the State; requiring a person that is licensed to provide debt management services to provide a specified notice to a consumer and make a determination, before providing debt management services for a consumer, about whether the debt management services are suitable for the consumer and the consumer's ability to meet the obligations of the debt management services agreement; etc.
