Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities - Suspicious or Unusual Deaths - Notice or Report

Synopsis:

Requiring persons required to provide notice of the death of individuals residing in a nursing home or an assisted living facility occurring in a suspicious or unusual manner to immediately provide notice to a specified police or sheriff's department; providing that a death occurring as a result of a decision made in accordance with a specified provision of law is not considered suspicious or unusual; establishing specified penalties; etc.
