Entitled:
Maryland Health Insurance Plan - Preexisting Condition Limitation

Synopsis:

Prohibiting the Board of Directors of the Maryland Health Insurance Plan from applying a preexisting condition limitation on Plan coverage; repealing the authority of the Board to offer members an optional endorsement to remove a preexisting condition limitation; and repealing a provision prohibiting the Plan from applying a preexisting condition exclusion to a specified individual who applies for coverage under the Plan within a specified time period.
