Physicians - Licensure - Liability Coverage

Synopsis:

Requiring physicians who perform outpatient surgical services in a freestanding ambulatory care facility in the State to maintain specified minimum amounts of professional liability insurance or document specified coverage as a condition of licensure and to notify the Board of Physicians, within a specified period of time, if the insurance or coverage is cancelled; authorizing the Board to adopt regulations; etc.
