State or Local Retirement or Pension Systems - Military Service Credit

Synopsis:

Increasing the amount of service credit from 5 to 6 years that members of the State Retirement and Pension System may receive for military credit earned before joining the State Retirement and Pension System; requiring that local retirement or pension systems provide at least 6 years of credit for members of the local retirement or pension system for military service earned before joining the local retirement or pension system; etc.
