Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays Critical Area - Prospective Land Purchases - Inspections

Synopsis:

Requiring a local jurisdiction to inspect a lot or parcel that is in the Chesapeake Bay or Atlantic Coastal Bays critical area at the request of a prospective purchaser to determine if a critical area violation exists on the lot or parcel; establishing that a specified subsequent purchaser of a lot or parcel in the critical area is not liable for specified criminal or civil penalties for specified violations under specified circumstances; and authorizing a local jurisdiction to impose a specified inspection fee.
