Synopsis:

Amending the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Compact in order to comply with federal requirements; altering the number and qualifications of the Directors on the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority Board, as specified; establishing the Office of Inspector General within the Authority; specifying provisions relating to specified payments to the Authority; making the Act subject to a specified contingency; etc.
