Vehicle Laws - Proof of Lawful Presence Act of 2009

Synopsis:

Requiring specified documentation be provided verifying that an individual is either a United States citizen or is lawfully present in the United States in accordance with federal law and that the individual has a valid Social Security number or is not eligible for a Social Security number before the Motor Vehicle Administration may issue an identification card, a driver's license, or a moped operator's permit; altering the expiration dates for an identification card, a moped operator's permit, and specified drivers' licenses; etc.
