Civil Jury Trials - Amount in Controversy

Synopsis:

Increasing from more than $10,000 to more than $20,000 the amount in controversy in civil proceedings in which the right to a trial by jury may be limited by legislation; and submitting the amendment to the qualified voters of the State for their adoption or rejection.
