Alcohol and Drug Treatment - Commitment of Defendant - Crime of Violence

Synopsis:

Prohibiting a defendant who is sentenced for a conviction of a crime of violence from being committed by a court to alcohol or drug treatment unless the defendant is eligible for parole under a specified provision of law.
