Public Service Commission - Prohibition on Terminating Gas and Electric Service - Residential Customers

Synopsis:

Prohibiting an electric company or a gas and electric company on or before June 1, 2009, from terminating gas or electric service to a residential customer whose account is in arrears, or during the pendancy of the Public Service Commission's investigation of a complaint by the customer about the increased cost of gas and electric service during the heating season; and making the Act an emergency measure.
