Web-Based Campaign Finance Reporting Act

Synopsis:

Requiring that campaign finance reports be filed with the State Board of Elections using a secure Internet website maintained by the State Board; requiring the State Board to control access to the website through protocols to guard against the disclosure of nonpublic information filed by a campaign finance entity; authorizing the State Board to exempt specified campaign finance entities from using the secure Internet website to file campaign finance reports; etc.
