Welfare to Work - Job Skills Enhancement Program - Green Jobs

Synopsis:

Requiring that the Secretary of Budget and Management develop and implement a plan for hiring current and former Family Investment Program recipients and their children, foster youth, and obligors; requiring that the job skills enhancement program include job training for employment in energy efficiency and renewable energy industries and construction; authorizing the Secretary of Human Resources to access specified funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and other funds for job training in specified industries; etc.
