Special Election - Absentee Voting - Late Applications

Synopsis:

Allowing voters in the State to vote in specified special elections by absentee ballot; requiring local boards of elections to be open to receive absentee ballots applications and absentee ballots on days and hours as specified; requiring the State Board of Elections and local boards of elections to inform voters about absentee voting for a special election, as specified; making the Act an emergency measure; and terminating the Act at the end of May 19, 2009.
