Injured Workers' Insurance Fund - Status and Renaming

Synopsis:

Renaming the Injured Workers' Insurance Fund as the Chesapeake Employers' Mutual Insurance Company; requiring the Company to be a specified authorized mutual insurer; altering the provisions of law that apply to the Company that applied to the Fund; specifying that the Company is a statutorily created nonprofit insurer that is not a unit of State government; providing that an employee of the Company is not an employee of the State and is not subject to specified laws; etc.
