Entitled:
Department of Natural Resources - Boating Safety Requirements

Synopsis:

Altering the definition of a child so that the prohibition on a person from operating a vessel unless a child on board is wearing a personal flotation device applies based solely on the age of the child; altering the required age for a child to wear a personal flotation device from under the age of 7 to under the age of 13; requiring individuals under the age of 16 to possess a certificate of boating safety education or comply with other requirements; making the Act an emergency measure; etc.
