State Retirement and Pension System - Investments - Independent Investment Advisory Firms

Synopsis:

Eliminating the Investment Division of the State Retirement Agency and the position of the Chief Investment Officer; requiring the Board of Trustees to hire independent investment advisory firms to invest the assets of the several systems of the State Retirement and Pension System; requiring the State Retirement Agency to submit a quarterly report to the Board of Trustees; altering a requirement relating to the management of specified real estate investments of the State Retirement and Pension System; etc.
