Maryland Department of Transportation and Maryland Transportation Authority - Enhanced Inspection of Bridges - Adoption of Regulations

Synopsis:

Requiring the Maryland Department of Transportation, in consultation with the Maryland Transportation Authority, to adopt, by July 1, 2012, regulations concerning enhanced inspection of bridges in the State; requiring the regulations to include specified policies and practices; and authorizing the Maryland Department of Transportation and the Maryland Transportation Authority to supplement or revise specified policies or practices in order to enhance safety.
