Labor and Employment - Abusive Work Environments - Employee Remedies

Synopsis:

Prohibiting an employee or an employer from subjecting an employee to an abusive work environment that includes specified abusive conduct that causes specified harm to the employee; prohibiting an employer from retaliating against an employee who opposes or resists abusive conduct in the employee's work environment or takes other action regarding a violation of the Act; authorizing an employee to file an action for a violation of the Act; applying the Act prospectively; etc.
