Requiring the Department of Legislative Services to study and make recommendations on the procedures for obtaining and the effectiveness of peace orders and protective orders issued in the State; requiring the Department to solicit input from academic experts, interested parties, and advocates; and requiring the Department to report its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly on or before December 31, 2020.
