Synopsis:Altering the availability of certain death benefits of a qualified volunteer of a fire company, rescue squad, or rescue dive team in Calvert County who is unmarried at the time of death if an alternate beneficiary who is a child, grandchild, or great grandchild of the volunteer has been designated; providing for the termination of certain death benefits of a qualified volunteer in Calvert County who is unmarried at the time of death under certain circumstances; and applying the Act retroactively to July 1, 2015.
