Synopsis:Authorizing the use of a pedestrian hybrid beacon at certain locations; defining "pedestrian hybrid beacon" as a traffic control signal placed at a crosswalk that utilizes a combination of steady and flashing lights and is pedestrian-activated; authorizing the State Highway Administration or a local jurisdiction to install a modified pedestrian hybrid beacon in accordance with certain standards; requiring the Administration to update certain standards to incorporate certain information by December 31, 2018; etc.
