Synopsis:Authorizing the Department of Housing and Community Development to provide funding under specified programs for a growth-related project not in a priority funding area without receiving approval from the Board of Public Works for the construction or purchase of newly constructed single-family homes if the Department determines that the cost of compliance with building and fire codes makes it difficult for a low- or moderate-income family to purchase a newly constructed single-family home.
