Retirement and Pensions - Reemployment of Retirees

Synopsis:

Exempting from an offset of a retirement allowance retirees of the Teachers' Retirement System or Teachers' Pension System who meet specified criteria; providing that specified retirees of the Teachers' Retirement System or Pension System may only be reemployed for a specified period of time; prohibiting specified employees from being rehired within a specified period of time; requiring local superintendents to approve hirings, determine placement, and certify information within a specified period of time; etc.
