Healthy Maryland Initiative

Synopsis:

Requiring the Governor to include in the annual State budget bill for specified fiscal years specified appropriations for activities aimed at reducing tobacco use in the State; expanding eligibility under the Maryland Medical Assistance Program to specified parents having incomes at or below specified levels, subject to specified limitations; requiring the Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to develop and implement a specified education and outreach campaign; etc.
