Environment - Landfills - Termination Date

Synopsis:

Expanding a prohibition against issuing a specified permit to construct or operate a landfill within a specified distance of specified areas; repealing the termination date of specified provisions of law relating to landfills in the State; and requiring the Department of the Environment to report to the General Assembly on or before January 1, 2008, on appropriate methods to authorize a county to remove a proposed landfill from a county plan.
