Immunity from Liability - Medical Emergency - Use of Automated External Defibrillator

Synopsis:

Providing immunity from civil liability under specified circumstances, notwithstanding specified other provisions of law, to an individual or facility that acquires an automated external defibrillator (AED) or that owns, manages, or is responsible for the premises where an AED is located, to an individual who retrieves an AED, or who uses, attempts to use, or fails to use an AED in response to a sudden cardiac arrest emergency at a facility; providing that the immunity is limited to specified circumstances; etc.
