Health Care Facilities - Disclosures - Use of Life-Sustaining Procedures

Synopsis:

Requiring health care facilities to provide information concerning the right to make specified decisions about health care and the availability of hospice care, request a copy of existing advance directives under specified circumstances, and inform competent individuals or proxy decision makers about specified facility procedures; requiring the State Advisory Council on Quality Care at the End of Life to consult with specified groups before developing and making publicly available specified resources; etc.
