Synopsis:

Authorizing an individual to claim a specified exemption in a bankruptcy proceeding; providing that the exemption may be for a specified amount in owner-occupied, residential real property; prohibiting an individual from claiming the exemption under specified conditions; prohibiting both a husband and wife from claiming the exemption in the same proceeding; etc.
