Health Insurance - Diabetes Treatment - Coverage for Orthotics

Synopsis:

Requiring health insurers, nonprofit health service plans, and health maintenance organizations that provide coverage for specified equipment, supplies, and training that are necessary for the treatment of diabetes and elevated blood glucose levels induced by pregnancy to provide coverage for orthotics for the management of diabetic feet under specified circumstances; and applying the Act.
