Handguns - Child Resistance Standards

Synopsis:

Requiring a handgun sold after a certain date to meet State performance standards for child resistance; requiring that performance standards for child resistance be designed so that a child under a certain age would have significant difficulty in firing a handgun; requiring that a certain type of device be attached to a handgun; and requiring that the Superintendent of the Department of State Police adopt regulations by a certain date to carry out the Act.
