Collective Bargaining and Binding Arbitration for Fire and Rescue Personnel

Synopsis:

Authorizing collective bargaining for fire, emergency medical services, paramedic, and rescue personnel, and paramedics who are employed by a governmental unit; providing for arbitration in certain situations; establishing requirements for formation of boards of arbitration; requiring compliance with decisions of boards of arbitration; and authorizing certain special elections by voters in a county or municipal corporation to decide certain offers of employment contracts.
