Renters Property Tax Relief - Homes Shared With Relatives

Synopsis:

Allowing a renter who shares a home with a relative but who otherwise qualifies for the Renters Property Tax Relief Program to receive the property tax relief determined in a specified manner if the renter actually pays occupancy rent to the relative under a bona fide written lease; and applying the Act to property tax relief for calendar years beginning after 1995.
