Juvenile Causes - Detention Prior to Hearing

Synopsis:

Requiring that a child who has been taken into custody be placed in detention prior to a hearing if the child is awaiting court action on another delinquency charge that would be a felony if committed by an adult and the child has previously failed to appear for a court proceeding relating to the other delinquency charge; and requiring a court to continue emergency detention of such a child until an adjudicatory or disposition hearing is held.
