Synopsis:

Authorizing optional limited tort motor vehicle coverage in the State under the Motor Vehicle Security Law; limiting the right to recover certain damages under the option; requiring a written election for obtaining the option in accordance with specified procedures; requiring insurers to reflect savings from limited tort coverages in their rates; and coordinating coverages among insurers as specified.
