State Personnel - Longevity Pay

Synopsis:

Establishing longevity pay for long-term State employees and requiring automatic 2% increases in salary to be paid to employees completing 21, 25, and 30 years of State service; requiring that longevity pay increases be denied in any year if the appointing authority recommends the denial because of a substantial reason that adversely affects the value of the employee to the State; establishing a right to appeal a denial of a longevity pay increase to the Secretary of Personnel; etc.
